Hoppy Easter

Somebunny was pretty happy about meeting the easter bunny.

I was lucky enough to visit my sister and her family in Key West for the holiday. I mean I don't know what I love more, visiting this little slice of paradise or spending time with my favorite niece & nephew. It was a weekend filled with egg hunts, egg coloring and egg cookie baskets, it's safe to say it was an EGGcellent Easter.

 ^^sorry dawson ;) I love you birthday boy^^

MY NUGGETS ARE GROWING UP. It's like they were born and then BAM they were walking talking little trouble makers (in the sweetest/cutest way). Since Reagan and Dawson have birthdays right around the holidays, we planned a double day of celebration for the babes. The day was filled with presents, playing, party hats, noise makers, toys with lousy directions & way too many parts, sunset walks and enough cake to give you diabetes. So basically it was EPIC.

^^someone got a train set^^

Christmas in the Keys

Christmas Eve was special because we were able to spend it at St Paul Episcopal Church. I look forward to Christmas Eve services year round, the remembrance of the true meaning of Christmas with the traditional hymns and candle lighting silent night.

^^dad in shorts on Christmas Eve...LOL life's a breeze in the keys^^

CHRISTMAS. I think the truth is the most exciting day of the year was almost hijacked by the devastation that consumed sweet Reagan that her elf on the shelf, Hermey, was no where to be found on Christmas morning, when we explained that he had to go back to the North Pole is was like code RED devastation. Thankfully Santa left her some very sweet gifts to distract her from the elf drama...

back story: The Jeep Surprise... flashback to 11PM on Christmas Eve when suddenly remember the babies Christmas gift from my parents, a Power Wheels Jeep, was still in the box down stairs. While we were all exhausted we somehow managed to spend the next two hours assembling the jeep all while enduring countless broken nails and misplaced parts. Once we finial finish and are flushed with relief we realize it has to charge for a full 12 hours before using, considering the babes will be up in the next 3-4 hours, that's not gonna work... so we were forced to save the gift best for last.

^^so much JOY^^

A Sunset Sail

My dad loves to sail. he grew up sailing with his father and has always made sure we experience his favorite past time. On this trip he treated us to a sunset sail, but in all truth, he had me at open bar. It was the perfect night and the sunset and in all honesty these photos don't begin to do it justice.

Holiday In The Sun

My family loves to travel, especially during the holidays because it's a guarantee that we can all be together and do something special. We spent this past holiday in Florida, starting off with Christmas in Key West then heading up to Disney World on New Years Day. To say it was an amazing trip is an understatement. It was a combination of everything I love: my family, Christmas, Florida sunshine and ocean views and Disney World! So for me it was perfect.

We got to Key West right before Christmas, so we spent our time doing a few of our favorite things: eating and shopping. Here are the first few days of our trip, there are many many more to come... didn't want to over load you all at once ;)
